Help our friends, please.

Dear family & friends,

Thank you for taking the time to read this. We have an important ask. Jennifer, who has been our friend for almost 20 years, has been battling her cancer for 3 years now. The cancer that originated in her thyroid has metastasized to her spine and has eaten away at most of her coccyx bone.  Most of you have met her at our wedding or at some point in time and know how important her and her husband have been to us.

Please consider giving anything you can spare. At this time, there isn't anything they don't need from groceries to toilet paper to co-pays.   They are at a very desperate and difficult time. My heart is broken because I know what it was like for me and what she is experiencing is 10x worse; to still have active cancer, to be in pain all day, to be denied any sort of benefits…that kind of stress can inhibit true healing.
